- PRE-MATCH
- HEREFORD have made the trip to Chester this evening hoping to end a run of four straight league defeats.
- Hereford boss Paul Caddis was gutted by losing a fourth league game on the bounce as the Bulls slipped to 18th in the National League North after seven matches.
- A 1-0 defeat against Southport was less than the Bulls deserved having a goal disallowed and penalty shout late on.
- However, with key strikers Jason Cowley and Andy Williams still missing Hereford have to find a way of picking up points.
- Like Hereford tonight's hosts Chester have won just one of their opening five league games.
- However, Chester have picked up two draws to Hereford's one so have earnt a point more.
- Chester picked up a 1-1 draw at Spennymoor Town on Saturday with Charlie Caton coming off the bench to score the equaliser
