  • Bulls' goalkeeper Nykah Liburd-Hines was forced into action running out to block a run clear of Jamie Bird.
  • At the opposite end Sodiende blazed over and then Pa Njie saw his cross narrowly miss his strike partner at the back post.

  • Five minutes before the break Bird was through on goal but was denied by Liburd-Hines who was quick off his line.
  • Straight up the other end Ismail found Sodeinde who looked to beat goalkeeper Matt Apperley who was equal to his effort.
  • Westfields felt they deserved a 51st minute penalty when Harrison Summers broke into the box and went down under a challenge by Patrick Fini but referee Josh Marchant waved away their appeals.
  • Desperate to score against his former side Bird saw his rifled effort into the ground just held by goalkeeper Liburd-Hines.
  • Just before the hour Bird did get his goal, but into the back of his own net, heading a Bulls corner into the Fields net.
  • Looking to redeem himself Bird whipped in a free-kick which was flicked on beating everybody but flying wide.
  • After withstanding some Fields pressure the Bulls broke quickly and Sodeinde beat his marker racing into the box and then picking out the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
  • Bulls goalkeeper Liburd-Hines denied Fields a way back into the tie with 11 minutes remaining making a fine save from Dan Stoneman.
