A GOAL from 70-year-old Phyl Dinnie helped Ross-on-Wye to a 4-0 home win over bottom-of-the-table Lansdown 3rd in Severn Division 2 of the West Clubs’ Women’s League.
Dinnie marked her first appearance of the season with her side’s second goal after Sharon Finch had opened the scoring for promotion-chasing Ross.
Pauline Hemmingway extended Ross’ lead from a short corner after the interval and Angela Wesley rounded off the scoring.
Third-placed Ross defended well to keep out the Lansdown attack and there were solid displays from Hannah Richards and midfielder Rebecca Hayes.
