LEOMINSTER returned to winning ways with a resounding 7-3 win over county rivals Ross-on-Wye in De Cymru and The Marches 1 of the GoCrea8 Hockey League.
With Ross fielding a depleted team, Leominster raced into a 5-1 half time lead thanks to goals from Dan Petrie (2), Shaun Hill, Jonty Goode and Steve Dobson.
In the second half, Leominster eased off the intensity and Ross pulled two goals back.
But Leominster applied further pressure and scored further goals from Dobson and Chris Connope.
Hereford also had a good win, thrashing Cardiff & Met Fourths 7-2.
In The Marches 1, Hereford Seconds went down 3-2 to Gloucester City Thirds, while The Marches 2, there were wins for both Leominster Seconds and Ross Seconds.
Meanwhile in the West Club's Women's League, Hereford shared a 4-4 draw with Blockley in North Division, while in the South Wales Hockey League, Presteigne were thrashed 9-0 by Cardiff University.
However, Kington claimed a 4-0 success over Bridgend.
