ANTHONY Robbins has stepped down from managerial duties at Pegasus Juniors with immediate effect.
The former Hereford and Westfields midfielder has decided to concentrate on playing without the managerial pressures.
Robbins became player-manager at Pegasus last season, with his most notable victory caming in a a 7-2 FA Vase win at Ellesmere Rangers in which Cory Hyde scored six goals.
But injuries to key players frustrated his efforts to climb the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division table and Pegasus finished ninth, the same position as the previous two seasons.
Pegasus director Kevin Bishop praised Robbins for his hard work and perseverance in a difficult season and for the professionalism that he has brought to the club.
"He set high standards which we will seek to maintain for the new manager," said Robbins.
The club are now keen to hear from suitable candidates with immediate effect and confidential discussions can be held with directors Kevin Bishop on 07931 971 765 or Mark Williams (07815 144660).
