PETE Beadle said he is uncertain what his future is at Hereford FC as he continues to discuss future plans with the club's board.

He watched his side finish as Evo-Stik Southern Champions on 113 points scoring 111 goals following Saturday's 2-0 win over St Ives Town on Saturday.

"I don't know what my future is yet but we are talking and we are open to discussions, we have had a meeting on Monday that went okay but we will still discuss it in the next few weeks and hopefully we will move on from there," said Beadle following the victory.

The Hereford manager who has steered the club to three league titles back-to-back and victories over AFC Telford United and Eastleigh in cup competitions said that his side will have to prove they are consistent against National League sides next year.

"In one off games like we have shown this year we are more than capable of competing with them better teams, but can we achieve that level of performance week in week out? That's yet to be seen.

"We will try and put a squad together that can achieve that."

Hereford cheered on by approximately 600 visiting supporters piled on the pressure against St Ives Town from the outset and Mike Symons saw his header fly over after O’Shea’s inch perfect cross.

Moment later the Bulls were ahead after Lance Smith saw his header rattle the bar before the rebound fell to O’Shea whose 33th minute low shot found the bottom corner.

The host’s best chance came early in the second half with Ben Baker’s cross cutting Hereford open but Ollie Snaith couldn’t connect to tap the ball home.

Mills, who has been left out of the Hereford starting side after coming back from an injury, made an immediate impact four minutes after coming on slotting home a 68th minute penalty after Dara O’Shea was judged to have been fouled inside the box.

There was doubts whether the match would go ahead due to heavy rain causing sections of the pitch to become waterlogged the previous.

However, Hereford manager Pete Beadle said his side were keen to see their league season finish.

“We were going to travel whatever and tried to get a message to them saying whatever happens make sure it’s on and we will sweep it off if we have to but they have done a great job to get the game on,” added Beadle.

“It wasn’t vintage or fluent but they got the job done with another clean sheet and three points and you can’t ask for much more than that.

“We thought the penalty was very soft but we’ll take it anyway. He has tucked it away nicely and reached 30 league goals which is a fantastic record."
