HEREFORD FC made it nine league victories on the bounce as they reached 110 points with a 3-0 victory over Hitchin Town.

Pablo Haysham put Pete Beadle's side ahead on the 32nd minute before Lance Smith doubled their lead from close range on the 50th minute and Jennison Myrie-Williams completed the victory late on.

"Winning is a good habit to have, I thought the lads application and attitude was spot on and I'm really pleased for those who have come in and played a big part tonight," said Beadle speaking to the Hereford FC website.

"It was a real solid performance, they set up with a back five so were difficult to break down, we had lots of possession and moved the ball really well. We were really dominant and thoroughly deserved the win although we could have scored a few more goals towards the end but it was nice to see the players still had the hunger and desire to make sure they turn up after a long trip on a Wednesday night.

"I would put tonight's performance up with Saturday's as I thought we were excellent although in the first time in a couple of weeks Will (Puddy) has earned his clean sheet bonus tonight and made some terrific saves.
Beadle made five changes to his starting line-up with Ryan Green, Mike Symons, James Bowen, Pablo Haysham and Billy Murphy returning to the starting 11.

"I just wanted to give them a game James (Bowen) has been here a little while now and picked up a few knocks but obviously with Cameron's (Pring) form it has been tough to get him in and the same with Billy (Murphy) who has had some illness and injury and with Elliot (Richards) doing well, Beadle added.

"With Ryan (Green) we felt we needed his leadership qualities out there tonight so put him straight back in.
"He has had a fantastic season and probably surpassed his own expectation and ours with his age we didn't think he'd struggle but not play as much games as he has done."
