LUKE Sparrow took five wickets as Wormelow skittled out visitors Himbleton and took their opening victory of the Worcestershire Division Two season by eight wickets.
The score had reached 60-0 in the 19th over when Sparrow finally picked up the wicket that the home side deserved, he followed this up with a couple more quick wickets as the visitors slipped to 79-3.
Karim Alee picked up a further wicket on his club debut and Findlay Williams also got his name on the score sheet, aided by a spectacular Luke Jones catch in the deep.
Harry Harding then removed Himbleton's top scorer Sean Jenkins (54) with a sharp run out to reduce the visitors to 142-6.
The Himbleton innings concluding on 157 in the 43rd over. Sparrow with 5-36 the pick of the home attack.
In reply a partnership of 101 between wicket keeper Edward Melly (60) and opener Matt Deem (44no) saw Wormelow reach their target 45.2 over on 158-2.
Elsewhere Burghill, Tillington and Weobley got their Division One campaign off to a winning start along with Colwall.
Colwall hit a target off 191-9 from their 50 overs with Fergus Cameron top scoring on 48 before skittling Pedmore out for just 39 off 19.2 overs with Michael Gooch top bowling on 6-11.
In the Division Two Herefordshire derby Zahid Saeed hit 74 as Bromyard set a target of 200-9 which Bartestree & Lugwardine failed to chase finishing on 89.
