IT now looks like it will be a two-way battle between between Luctonians and Goodrich to determine who will win GB Liners Marches League Division One.

Reigning champions Lucs are nine points ahead of Goodrich with just two games remaining, with Garnons a further 35 points adrift in third.

This Saturday, Luctonians entertain Abergavenny-Crickhowell, while Goodrich host bottom club Glangrwyney.

Last Saturday, Luctonians effectively ended Kington's title hopes thanks to a three-wicket win.

Jamie Simpson (3-23) and Will Maund (3-33) helped Lucs bowl Kington out for 176, while in reply, James Platford hit an unbeaten 52 and Maund 40.

As for Goodrich, Mark Bradford claimed an astonishing eight wickets for just 16 runs as the villages skittled out Builth Wells for 65.

Rory Jackson then top scored with 32 as Goodrich won by eight wickets.

Elsewhere, James Debenham's 45 helped Garnons beat Woolhope by 52 runs, Jonathan Jones and Jack Rowsall scored half centuries for Dales in their win over Abergavenny-Crickhowell and Brockhampton Thirds beat Glangrwyney.

There is a top-of-the-table clash in Division Two this Saturday with Ross-on-Wye entertaining Cleobury Mortimer.

Ross hold the advantage by 25 points with their latest win coming against Knighton-on-Teme.

The champions of Divisions Three and Four were crowned at the weekend, with Strollers and Herefordians claiming the respective prizes.
