LUCTONIANS have maintained top spot of the GB Liners Marches League following a comfortable nine-wicket win over Dales.

Despite a half century from Jo Privett, Dales were bowled out for just 150; Matt Bengry (4-26) and Pete Griffiths (4-46) taking four wickets each for Lucs.

The home team had no problem reaching their target, achieving it in just 27.1 overs.

James Platford ended unbeaten on 94 and his father Duncan on 38.

Goodrich are just nine points adrift at the top of the table thanks to a thumping seven-wicket win over Garnons.

James O'Brien took 4-41 as Garnons were bowled out for just 87, while Goodrich got to their target in just 20-4 overs.

There was also a comfortable win for Kington against Glangrywney.

Kington made 246 before they bowled out; Ben George top scoring with 64.

George then took two wickets for no runs as Kington bowled their opponents out for just 64.

Michael Green (3-16) and Sam Roberts (3-34) also contributed with the ball.

Elsewhere, Brockhampton Thirds saw off Builth Wells by five wickets and Abergavenny-Crickhowell beat Woolhope by two wickets.
