CHRIS Todd might have played at Wembley – but he said it was nothing like singing at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Hereford United defender admitted he was a ‘bundle of nerves’ when he sang in the sell-out Sunflower Jam concert.
Devon-based Chris, 31, appeared on Channel 4 this week as part of ‘The Big C’ choir formed by cancer charity Tenovus.
He also appeared on ITV’s This Morning and was interviewed by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
“I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 27 and it’s hard to explain,”
said Chris, who is now in remission.
“With my football, I felt fit and invincible – I didn’t expect to get cancer.”
The father-of-three joined other members of the choir who are living with cancer.
“I like to sing when I go to Karaoke but I never thought I would sing at the Royal Albert Hall,”
said the Welshman.
