FORMER Hereford United boss Colin Addison has urged the Edgar Street faithful to remain patient with their side.

Addison spoke with United manager Simon Davey after the Bulls’ 2-0 home defeat to Oxford last Saturday.

United have not scored for 524 minutes in League 2 and have lost their last four matches.

The Bulls are second-from-bottom in the division and travel to Bury on Saturday.

“Simon was obviously low after the match and everyone was disappointed with the performance and the recent results,” said Addison.

“It’s a new team and the summer saw a major turnaround both on and off the pitch.

“People have to be patient. It’s just not happening at the moment but something is going to turn their luck - it could be a deflected goal or a decision.

“Simon’s made a lot of changes and it takes time to gel but I am sure the Meadow Enders will stick with it.

“Patience is an easy word to say, particularly in football, but it’s important that people remain patient."
