FORMER Aston Villa skipper Dennis Mortimer will be passing on his football experience in Hereford next month.
Mortimer, who won the European Cup and League title with Villa, is the new FA regional coach development manager for the West Midlands.
Mortimer, in partnership with the Herefordshire FA’s Paul Carpenter, has organised a series of coach development workshops.
The workshops kick-off at Westfields FC on Monday, February 23 from 7pm to 9.30pm.
The former Villa man will take adult players, managers and coaches through 11 v 11 defensive principles of play.
A ‘Bridging the Gap’ between FA Level 1 and Level 2 workshop is on Thursday, February 26 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
