HEREFORD Pegasus Ladies returned to the home comforts of the KGD Stadium on a freezing Sunday afternoon when they entertained Welland.

Despite the cold conditions the hosts were on red-hot form as they defeated their opponents 9-0 in the Midwest Counties League clash.

The Worcestershire club proved to be belligerent visitors in the early stages as they frustrated Pegasus in the opening quarter of the match.

Amy Bradley finally broke the deadlock in the 21st minute, after being set-up by Holly Hemming, before captain Emily Morgan doubled the advantage within a minute of the restart.

Molly Powis saw her 25 yards drive deceive the visitor's goalkeeper after 32 minutes before Pegasus added two further goals before the interval.

Morgan played Bradley through on goal for her second of the afternoon in the 35th minute.

The influential Morgan then found the net three minutes later squeezing the ball past the Welland custodian's at near post surging into the penalty area.

Bradley completed her own hat-trick seven minutes after the break when latching on to a Livvie Jenkins through ball before the home club added three more goals in the final 15 minutes following some stubborn resistance provided by Welland.

Sarah Bishop fired home after 75 minutes from an Abi Wilson pullback before netting a second goal four minutes later with a sweet drive from outside of the penalty area when a corner was only partially cleared.

Bradley completed the scoring with four minutes remaining when she ran on to a Jenkins through ball before sliding past the advancing goalkeeper for her fourth of the afternoon.
