HEREFORD FC have signed Callum Rowe who previously played for the club on loan.

The 23-year-old played on loan at Hereford while under contract with Aston Villa.

However, Rowe was released by Villa in June last year and has more recently played for Yeovil Town and Salisbury.

A statement on the club's website said: "The versatile performer emerged through the ranks at Aston Villa and was part of their U23 team that lifted the PL Cup in 2017/18.

"He was then part of the Villa team that faced Liverpool in the FA Cup third round in 2021, providing the assist as Louie Barry equalised and given the task of keeping Mo Salah quiet.

"It was during 2021 that he was first loaned out to The Bulls and was part of our memorable FA Trophy run before being released from Villa Park and joining Exeter City before linking up with Yeovil Town."

The 23 year-old previously played left-back for The Bulls but can also operate in the middle of the park.
