HEREFORD assistant manager Steve Burr predicts a stronger squad being assembled this season with more exciting signings on their way.
Last week the Bulls signed experienced striker Tyrone Barnett and young defender Zac Lilly joined the seven senior players retained from last season’s squad.
“We’re quietly happy with how things have gone,” said Burr.
“We are negotiating all the time at the minute. At the moment I personally feel there will be some exciting times ahead this season.
“I can see a lot stronger squad being assembled and we’re going to have a right go at being up there again."

Burr says there will be more exciting signings over the next month before the season starts in August.
“We’ve obviously spoken to one or two already and missed out,” added Burr.
“That’s not just down to money but circumstances and fitting in with our training regime
“There are lots of little things that might contribute towards a lad not coming in but we’re happy with how things have gone.
“There’s going to be a few more exciting signings before we start the season.
“Also there are a number of lads for pre-season who are a mixture of lads that have been involved at Conference or Football League level.
"It will be an opportunity for those lads to show us what they are about.”
