VETERAN former Hereford defender Ryan Green has re-signed for Westfields after overcoming an injury.
The 41-year-old central defender missed last season after suffering an Achilles injury in the FA Vase tie at Long Eaton in April last year.
However, 14 months later he is now ready for pre-season with Westfields.

Westfields manager Phil Glover said: “I’ve got a good relationship with Ryan, and the when we had a chat back in March it was a no brainer I wanted to get it done and him back with us if he was fit to return to football and wanted to continue.
“His experience is invaluable and it will no doubt help us this season. He will work closely with Joe Darly our Physio over the next few weeks to make sure we are sensible with his pre season.”
Green played almost 400 games for Hereford United and Hereford FC before leaving Edgar Street in 2019.
