WESTFIELDS manager Phil Glover has made two new signings ahead of pre-season commencing.

Fields have signed attacking players Adam Wakeley and Kyle Cassell.

Cassell has previously played for the likes of AFC Sudbury and Hadleigh United.

Meanwhile, Wakeley has previously played a few games for Fields while serving in the army.

Westfields will play a Hereford FC side their final pre-season friendly at allpay.park on Thursday, July 28.

Speaking about the friendly Westfields’ chief executive Andy Morris said: “We’re delighted that Hereford have agreed to a pre-season friendly which will be our last game before the season kicks off in the Hellenic League Premier Division."

Prior to that Westfields commence their pre-season friendlies with a visit to near-neighbours Hereford Pegasus on Tuesday, July 5 in the Dennis Hartland Memorial Trophy.

On Saturday, July 9 Westfields travel to Alvechurch, kick-off 3pm.

This is followed by a trip to Southern League side Highworth on Monday, July 11, kick-off 7.30pm.

Glover's side then play their first home pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 16, when Portsmouth-based side Moneyfields come to allpay.park.

Westfields entertain Monmouth Town on July 19 before they travel to Devon on July 23, to play Brixham before finally hosting Hereford.
