A GROUP of Hereford trampoline stars have jumped on the podium at a national finals.

Three high-flying Hereford Dynamix Trampoline Club gymnasts were successful at the recent National Schools Trampoline Finals.

Reuben Evans, age nine, wowed the judges and stormed to victory claiming the title of National Schools Champion at his first ever national event.

He was crowned the winner of the Year One to Six Novice category representing Holmer C of E Academy.

Taking second place on the podium Lilly Mills, age 13, bounced her way to success in the Year Seven to Nine Intermediate category, representing The Hereford Academy.

Meanwhile, Zach Pattison, age 10, impressed to place third in the year One to Six Intermediate category representing St Mary’s C of E Primary School.

A closely fought contest saw Adam Hawthorne place sixth representing Kington Primary School.

Representing Barrs Court School was Isabelle Emery who also finished sixth.

Marcus Powell was representing Hereford College of Arts and finished seventh in his category.

Leo Purnell was representing Luston Primary School and came away with a ninth place position.

The event saw over 550 talented trampolinists descended upon the competition held in Macclesfield, eager to see who will be named the National Schools Champion.

To make it into the finals competitors had to qualify through the regional and zonal stages of the competition.

During the final the boys and girls performed two final routines and enjoyed the experience of competing amongst the best in the UK.
