HEREFORD goalkeeper Brandon Hall said that the warm weather could have been one reason for a lower intensity during their 1-1 draw against Darlington.

A sunny and warm afternoon at Edgar Street greeted players with Mo Faal’s opener cancelled out by Jack Lambert’s equaliser.

“I think both teams looked drained,” said Hall.

“I don’t know if that’s the heat, we’re not used to this heat, it’s been a little while hasn’t it?

“It was a bit slow and we’ve not have this kind of warmth in a while. It looked like it effected both teams.

“They (Darlington) keep the ball quite nicely and move it around. I think we were a bit more defensive today.

“It’s another draw which is frustrating, and the lads are gutted in there.”

Hall received the man of the match award after saving a first half penalty to deny Darlington captain Will Hatfield after the Bulls goalkeeper brought down Cameron Thompson inside the box.

“I’ve given it away as well,” added Hall.

“It’s one of those annoying ones where strikers leave their legs in. I have committed so it is a little bit frustrating.

“To save it is a bit of redemption.
