HEREFORD assistant manager Steve Burr said that chances were at a premium in his side’s 1-1 draw against Darlington.

Mo Faal put Hereford ahead early in the match and Bulls goalkeeper Brandon Hall saved a penalty in the first half against the Quakers.

However, Darlington equalised with 18 minutes on the clock as Jack Lambert earnt his side a point.

“You’ve got to give credit to Darlington as they are a good side,” said Burr talking to Keith Hall.

“We got a good start with the goal through Mo Faal but I would say Darlington were pretty much on top in the first half.

“We had a bit of a rally in the second half but couldn’t find a way through today. I felt today that how fluid we have been at home wasn’t quite there.

“Chances were pretty much at a premium today.”

The Bulls only have four home games remaining and Burr said that they had targeted three points against Darlington to boost their play-off ambitions.

“We needed three points today,” added Burr.

“Fortunately, today a lot of results have gone our way. We didn’t win the game, but it was important that we didn’t lose it either.

“Obviously with the situation that we’re in we targeted the three points today.”
