HEREFORD manager Josh Gowling says he’s looking to add a forward to his squad to provide more options.

The departure of winger Zeli Ismail has freed up some funds for the Bulls boss who wants to strengthen his attacking options.

“It frees up a little bit of money for us to look at an attacking option,” added Gowling.

We played Maziar (Kouhyar) wide, who was excellent, but not a natural wide man. Then we’ve got Ryan McLean, Miles (Storey) and that’s pretty much it so we definitely need re-enforcements.

“Then we’ve got Jaanai in the number nine. We probably need another number nine or wide man so we’ll be looking at that.”

Meanwhile, Gowling confirmed that Ismail had taken up a trial at York City leaving the Bulls for the second time this season.

“Zeli moved out on trial to York,” added Gowling.

“What has gone on with that I don’t know. He obviously wanted full-time football which is fine. He sent me a message saying that he wanted to take that opportunity.

“We’re not going to stand in anybody’s way. If players don’t want to be at the football club and they think the grass is greener somewhere else then off they can go.
