HEREFORD manager Josh Gowling is hoping to bring in some ‘targets’ ahead of next week’s game against Gateshead after the Bulls were left short of options against Brackley Town.

Maziar Kouhyar pulled out before the match due to illness while Zeli Ismail is recovering from a ‘niggle’.

Meanwhile, Krystian Pearce faces a three-match suspension after being given a red card against Brackley.

Luke Haines was also substituted in the first half after suffering an injury. He is set to join Jared Hodgkiss on the side-lines who suffered a knee injury before Christmas.

Hereford FC sign new defender

“We’ve got some good links with some football clubs so we’ll be asking them to do us a favour I would say,”

“We have got a few targets we are looking at now so hopefully we can bring them in and bolster our squad.

“We need a left-back, another midfielder and a centre half so that’s what we’ll be looking at. We’ll always be competitive and it’s my job as a manager for us to be competitive in every game we play.”
