HEREFORD manager Josh Gowling praised his Bulls side for scoring two quick second half goals which “knocked the stuffing” out of Kettering Town.

Tom Owen-Evans’ first half free-kick separated the sides at half-time.

However, the Bulls were at their best early in the second half with Jaanai Gordon and Owen-Evans both scoring to complete the win with just 54 minutes played.

“I thought we controlled the game from start to finish,” said Gowling talking to Keith Hall.

“We do analysis and look at where they (Kettering) are at there most dangerous. They are most dangerous 15 minutes after half-time.

“So we really worked in training at going at an intensity in those 15 minutes to knock the stuffing out of them really.

“We did that early getting the goal (second goal) and I think after that there was only going to be one winner.”
