WESTFIELDS manager Phil Glover was pleased with the work rate during their 2-1 defeat at Hereford and felt his side gave a good account of themselves.

Harrison Summers and Cawley Cox both went down inside the Bulls’ box during the loss but referee Josh Marchant waved away Westfields’ appeals.

“On another day we could have had a couple of penalties,” said Glover.

“The first one definitely and the second one, Cawley (Cox) has gone through and the one lad has got the ball but the other one has taken him out.

“I think even the Hereford bench was flabbergasted why that hasn’t been given really. It was a bit frustrating but overall I was happy with the performance which is pleasing for me.”
