RELIEVED Hereford manager Josh Gowling was pleased that his side had the ‘rub of the green’ and put on a good defensive display in their 1-0 win over Chorley.
Miles Storey scored the games’ only goal nine minutes from time while Krystian Pearce led the Bulls defensive line and kept out third placed Chorley.

Gowling said it was the worst his side had been in possession this season but he had asked his side to be industrious to give his side a platform to build on.
However, the Bulls manager, talking to Keith Hall, said his side are still lacking confidence in front of goal.
