HEREFORD chairman Jon Hale said that the club's board of directors are 'doing everything' to support manager Josh Gowling after a run of one win in 10 league games.

Speaking to the club's website Hale said that the club was not going to be 'chopping and changing' but were going to find a path forward.

"It's disappointing for everybody," said Hale about the league form.

"The supporters, the players, the management, the board of directors and volunteers have all felt it.

"It's very frustrating, we're not hiding from it at all. Josh (Gowling) is not hiding from it at all.

"We know things have got to improve, we've got to get results and get away from the bottom of the table.

"As a board of directors we will do everything we can to support Josh and the management structure to get through this difficult period.

"One win in the first 10 games, nobody is going to pretend that's good enough.

"We're not pretending that at all. I said when I came back in as chairman that we wanted stability in this football club, I meant that on and off the pitch.

"We're going to do everything we can to help and support Josh, the management and the players.

"I know supporters will do the same starting hopefully with a win on Saturday (against Chorley).

"We've got to be positive about it. We're not going to keep chopping and changing, we've got to try and provide a path forward and be positive about that.

"We will support where we can, obviously within the structure of a sustainable football club."
