HEREFORD assistant manger Steve Burr says his side have been reflecting on ‘ifs and buts’ all season after his side suffered a 2-0 defeat at Boston United.
Burr said he was disappointed with the performance and blamed ‘bad defensive errors’ for the opening goal which Jordan Burrow scored.
The Bulls responded and Miles Storey rattled the post seven minutes from time which Burr said he side should have ‘followed up and scored’
However, a controversial penalty scored by Shane Byrne secured the win for Boston.
“We’ve been saying it all season ifs and butts and that’s been the season so far,” added Burr talking to Keith Hall.
His side were stuck on the M5 for two hours leading to the game being delayed to a 3.30pm kick-off but added that was no excuse for his side being beaten.
Ryan Lloyd missed the game today and Burr confirmed that his absence was Covid-19 related.
