FRUSTRATED Hereford manager Josh Gowling blamed a lack of accuracy with the final ball on his side’s 1-0 defeat at Darlington.
Luke Charman’s ninth minute header was all that separated the sides and despite a dominant second half display Darlington goalkeeper Tommy Taylor kept his side ahead.
Gowling said he had warned his side about Darlington starting quickly and that Charman being given a free header to put his side ahead was “unacceptable”.

However, the blamed poor delivery on his side being kept out and having scored just four goals from their eight league games.
“First half we didn’t keep the ball well enough and turned balls over too much and played their game a little bit,” said Gowling talking to Keith Hall after the defeat.
“In the second half, we have only scored four (league goals) all season not because we aren’t getting in good areas but because the delivery has not been good enough.
“Their goalkeeper has been given man of the match today and pulled off some good saves.”
