HEREFORD manager Josh Gowling hopes his side will continue their unbeaten FA Cup tie at Mertsham Town on Saturday.

Hereford are four matches unbeaten ahead of their third qualifying round match in which the winner will receive £5,625 with the loser receiving £1,875.

Merstham are based in Surrey and play their football in the Isthmian League Premier Division (step three of the non-league pyramid).

A draw would result in the game being replayed at Edgar Street on Tuesday (October 5).

Hereford were held to a 2-2 draw at Lymington in the second qualifying round before beating them 4-0 in the replay.

Since then, the Bulls have drawn against Leamington (1-1) and beaten York City 1-0 on Tuesday night in the National League North.

However, Hereford do have some injury concerns with Myles Storey, Yan Klukowski, James Vincent, Krystian Pearce and Luke Haines all missing Tuesday night’s win at York.
