HEREFORD goalkeeper Brandon Hall said he had done his homework on York City striker Clayton Donaldson before making a penalty in the second half of their 1-0 win.

The game was goalless in the second half when Levi Andoh was harshly judged to have brought down substitute Harrison Hopper.

Donaldson stepped up but Hall pulled off a fine save.

“It was an awkward penalty,” Hall said speaking to Keith Hall after the match.

“Obviously you do you homework. He chipped his last one but it takes a brave man to chip twice. I’ve gone that way, it’s at an awkward hight but I got a hand to it.”
