WESTFIELDS’ striker Josh Hunt scored twice as his side moved up the Hellenic Premier after a convincing 5-2 home victory over Hallen.

Phil Glover's side have a chance to challenge the title chasers as they now meet Fairford Town at allpay.park on Saturday, then league leaders Cribbs are at Westfields on the following Tuesday as the season hots up.

On Saturday, Hunt headed Fields into a 25th minute lead and his side created further chances without adding to their tally as they went in 1-0 up at the interval.

Hallen punished Fields for failing to take their chances and drew level through Dan Dyke.

However, Harrison Summers restored the Westfields lead then Matt McDonald put his side 3-1 in front.

Substitute Cawley Cox then got his first goal for the club when he closed down the visitors’ defence, before Hunt struck again.

In injury time Hallen got a second late consolation goal through Tony Blackwell.
