HEREFORD have signed Ipswich Town defender Levi Andoh on loan for initially one month.

The 21-year-old, Dutch born defender started at Aston Villa Academy and moved on to Worcester City and Solihull United before being signed by Ipswich Town in December 2019.

Last season he was on loan at Lowestoft Town in the Southern League Premier Division Central.

"He's a big, strong and powerful boy who is very quick," said Gowling.

"I've spoken to a few people at Ipswich who I know and who have seen him play.

"We wanted two centre halves through the door. He's come in now at six foot two inches.

"He's big, wiry and can play right-back as well so he can get up and down."
