JAY Reidy says he wants to give fight fans a night to remember next weekend.
The former Hereford RFC player looks to make it back-to-back wins in the boxing ring when he meets Irakli Kancheli in Swindon on Saturday, August 14.
Kancheli has previously fought in the Muay Thai kickboxing ring, while Reidy made a crowd-pleasing start to his boxing career when he got off the floor to outpoint Jason Hopkins.
Reidy said he is planning more thrills next weekend.
The 24-year-old said: “My coach hates it when I say this, but I always want to be in the best fight of the night.
“I like to have the crowd sitting there thinking: ‘That looks tough in there, I’m glad it’s them and not me.’
“I want to have fights that people remember, win or lose.”
