HEREFORD midfielder Ryan Lloyd hopes to show his attacking ability this season.

The 27-year-old, signed for the Bulls last summer from Port Vale becoming a staple of the midfield.

"I'd love to chip in with a few goals this season," said Lloyd.

"I think that I will get a bit more of a licence to go forward a bit more this season now we've got the likes of James Vincent.

"He's an experienced lad and a good player.

"You just give him the ball in any situation and he will deal with it so I'm looking forward to playing with him."

Lloyd featured in Hereford's 2-2 pre-season friendly draw at Cinderford Town on Saturday.

"We went on a good run and went into every game thinking we could beat anyone," added Lloyd

"It's just trying to get that team-spirit back and that same kind of mentality.
