MIDFIELDER Tom Owen-Evans says the Bulls will go into their cup final against Hornchuch looking as underdogs against the side in a tier below them in the non-league system.

Despite playing their league football in the Isthmian League Premier Division have beaten Notts County, Darlington, Maidstone United, King’s Lynn Town Dulwich Hamlet, Tonbridge Angels, Wingate & Finchley and Bowers & Pitsea on their long run to the final.

“We’re not underestimating them,” said Owen-Evans.

“Through the teams they (Hornchurch) have beaten so far are four teams who are above them (in the non-league pyramid).

“We go into it looking as underdogs almost as they have beaten bigger teams than we have and scored the most goals in the competition as well.

“We’ve done our homework on them know how they play and how we are going to counteract that on the day.

“We won’t be underestimating them at all. It will be a tough game as any cup final is. We’ll be going there with the upmost confidence that we can do the job and win the game.”
