  • Hereford started brightly and Tom Owen-Evans cut inside before seeing his effort blocked.
  • Moments later Lenell John-Lewis saw his effort saved by the fingertips of Greg Hall.
  • At the other end Nantwich opened Hereford up and Scott McGowan saw his effort cleared by Yan Klukowski.
  • Chris Camwell went closest on 16 minutes when his free-kick had the goalkeeper beaten but crashed off the bar.
  • John-Lewis was denied by goalkeeper Hall again on 29 minutes after turning inside the box and shooting low.
  • On the half-time whistle Nantwich almost had an unlikely lead when Curtis Miller snuck inside the box before firing inches wide.
  • After the break Bulls goalkeeper Brandon Hall was forced into action to deny David Webb's effort.
  • Bulls defender Jamie Grimes should have given his side a 62nd minute lead after John-Lewis cut a ball into the box, but his effort on the run fell wide.
  • Bulls substitute Kelsey Mooney, returning from injury, created the opening goal finding Kyle Finn who cut back for John-Lewis to tap home.
  • With Hereford looking to seal the win Kyle Finn saw his curling effort picked out of the top corner by goalkeeper Hall.
  • In the final 10 minutes Nantwich threw everything forwards and Saunders crossed for McGowan who failed to connect two yards out.

  • HEREFORD FC have made the trip to Nantwich for their FA Trophy game this afternoon in the third round of the competition.
  • The Bulls beat St Neots Town 3-0 in the second round on Tuesday night to secure their place in the third round.
