GOALKEEPER Brandon Hall said it was nice to start in goal for Hereford after what he admits has been a tough time for him.

It was the contracted goalkeeper’s first appearance of the season replacing Paul White with Hereford running out 2-1 winners.

“It was nice to be back in, it’s been a tough time for myself personally,” said Hall speaking to Keith Hall.

“I’ve had to wait for my chance but it’s nice to be back in and to get a win is fantastic for the club and to get us moving in the right direction.

“We didn’t start well at all and were deservedly 1-0 down but the character and determination to come back and get the win is a real credit to the lads.

“You should always have something to prove, we are all at this level and want to get higher. For my own personal pride I feel I have got something to prove.

“I know what I’m capable of and I’m determined to succeed. It’s been tough for myself to be cast aside and feel not wanted is tough.

“I’m pleased that I can put in a fairly solid performance and get the win.”
