HEREFORD FC assistant manager Steve Burr has said there is more to come from his side if they can build momentum following a 3-0 victory at Blyth Spartans.
A Tom Owen-Evans brace in the first half was followed by a Lenell John-Lewis strike in the second to confirm the points.
“It was excellent, I thought in both halves we played some really good football today,” said Burr.
“It was nice to get in amongst the goals which is important but I thought the all-around performance was excellent.
“I thought some of our build-up play, our overall play and to finish things off today which was important.
“It would be unfair to single anybody out today as I think as a team we were very good. It was nice to see us create a lot of chances, if I’m being overly critical we should have won by a lot more.
“It gives you confidence when you win matches. The problem so far is that we’ve played four games, you need a bit of momentum and a bit of a run.
“If we can build that momentum up and get through our games there’s a lot more to come from the team.”
