- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- Wellington had the first opening on three minutes when Sam Pearson found space before firing his effort at the goalkeeper.
- Pegasus responded and Rory Worthing tested the goalkeeper with a well-hit effort.
- Straight up the other end Paul Jones crossed onto the head of Rory Huntbach who headed over.
- After 32 minutes Pegasus probed for the opener with Cam Peters seeing his effort saved before Jack Lewis' header at the back post rattled the post.
- Wellington were reduced to 10 men seven minutes later when Sam Pearson was given a straight red for a foul on Lewis.
- After weathering a spell of Peggy pressure the visitors opened the scoring deep into first half stoppage time with Paul Jones sliding home.
- Four minutes into the second half Pegasus were level after being awarded a penalty.
- Harrison Summers cross hits an arm and from the resulting spot kick Carlos Moreira fired his penalty home.
- At the other end Rob Whitlock played through Jones who this time sent his effort over the bar.
- However, Peggy were ahead after 59 minutes with Cameron Peters beating the goalkeeper to a cross and firing his side in front.
- Whitlock should have equalised for the visitors after Jones played a pin-point ball to his team-mate but his effort lacked conviction and was saved.
- Harrison Summers had the chance to seal the points for Peggy after running clear and then turning his man but saw his effort saved by Matt Apperley.
- Wellington remained a threat and Whitlock was played in on goal but saw his effort saved.
