HEREFORD FC have signed versatile attacking midfielder Andrai Jones ahead of the new season.
The 28-year-old, from Liverpool, is known to assistant manager Steve Burr and has previously played for Bury, Gateshead, Southport, and Guiseley.
"Andrai is a versatile player who can play in the centre of midfield and up top," Hereford manager Josh Gowling told the club's official website.
"He's got a great engine, great attitude and really likes to press and push on."
After initially speaking to Jones during lockdown, Gowling is delighted to finally sign his man ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie at Gosport Borough.
"We spoke during lockdown but with things the way they were at the time we couldn't bring him in, so we agreed to speak later in pre-season," said Jones.
"He's come in to training for the first time this week and looked really sharp.
"He's fitted in well with the lads, he knows Lenny (Lenell John-Lewis) already, so it's another player who has a link with the squad, that really helps with the team spirit.
"He was also at Southport when Steve Burr was in charge there, so Steve knows him well and was keen for him to join us."
