HEREFORD will be looking to give themselves a financial boost by progressing in the FA Cup this weekend.
The Bulls head to Gosport Borough in the second qualifying round with the winners receiving £3,375.
"We know how important the FA Cup is financially to every club," said Hereford assistant manager Steve Burr.
"For me personally over the years I've been fortunate to be involved in some cracking FA Cup rounds so hopefully with a bit of luck we can have the same with Hereford.
"It has probably been a while since Hereford reached the heights of the day but everybody, particularly more so with everything that's going on at the moment needs the revenue from the FA Cup.
"We know how difficult it can be down there, it's not been a great draw for us but we'll re-group this week and make sure we're right for Saturday."
The Bulls were without talisman Lenell John-Lewis in their final friendly at Chippenham Town on Saturday. “Lenny (John-Lewis) is going to be back full training next week so all being well he’ll be available for Saturday,” added Burr “We miss him, he’s a pivotal figure in the team."
