- The opening chance fell to Solihull after 10 minutes when some neat play opened up the Bulls and Jordan Cranston found Jake Beesley who unmarked from five yards out blazed his effort over the bar.
- After withstanding a period of pressure the Bulls responded with a trialist playing through Demitri Brown whose low effort was saved.
- After losing to a screaming goal on Saturday Moors scored one of their own on 23 minutes.
- Jamie Osborne who set up a volley on the turn which flew past goalkeeper Paul White and into the top corner.
- The Moors doubled their lead two minutes before the break when a long throw was flicked on by the head of James Ball and headed home by Beesley.
