COLWALL CC made history by reaching the final of The Cricketer Village Cup final for the first time in the club’s history after winning in Yorkshire against Carlton Towers today.
The Herefordshire side batted first setting a huge target of 238. The hosts could not match their visitor’s run rate and with rain stopping play the umpires eventually decided the light was too poor and Colwall were victors.
The final will be played at Lord’s a week on Saturday (September 19).
