- With the first chance of the game County took a 12th minute lead.
- After working their way into the box with a neat one-two between Joss Labadie and Padraig Amond they then found Lewis Collins who slid the ball home.
- The visitors should have had a second goal on 29 minutes when Collins broke down the left and chipped over goalkeeper Paul White to a trialist whose effort was headed off the line and onto the bar.
- Ryan Haynes then saw his rebound effort saved.
- Right on half-time County came within an inch of doubling their lead when a trialist had a low curled shot which rattled the post.
- County took just four minutes of the second half to double their lead when a free-kick was spilt by the trialist goalkeeper and it dropped to Ryan Taylor who slotted home.
- Taylor had the chance to double his tally but blazed over after play opened up for him.
- The Bulls' best chance came on the 62nd minute when from a free-kick a trialist had a free header, but put his effort over.
