CREATING a pathway into senior women's football from a young age Tupsley Ladies are continuing to grow ahead of the new season.
Playing in the Herefordshire Development League the side were formed three-and-a-half years ago and have grown stronger once again this summer.
Last season Tupsley fielded teams for girls from the under-eight age group through to their ladies' team.
"It's going really well and we have got a few more extra players for next season which makes the squad look really strong," said manager Sean Arrowsmith.
"It all started with a group of mums who wanted a kick around, to get fitter and be social and it all blossomed from there.
"There is the main Tupsley Girls set-up and then the ladies team for players to filter through into.
"This season we have picked up four girls from the under-17s. So it's good for the girls to move all the way through the system.
"It's a really good pathway for the younger girls to go through."
Tupsley Ladies are currently looking for a kit sponsor for the coming season and will be using local company Clubsport for their kits.
