WORMELOW Cricket Club have announced that one of their championship winning team has lost his battle with cancer.
Jeewan Puri was part of the Wormelow team that won the GB Liners Marches League last season.
Wormelow Cricket Club wrote on Twitter: "It is with a heavy heart and tears in our eyes that we announce the sad passing of our friend and team mate, Jeewan Puri.
"Jeewan’s courageous battle with cancer sadly came to an end last week. Rest in peace Jeewan, forever in our hearts."
