- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- The hosts were handed a seventh minute lead when the referee awarded a controversial penalty for an alleged trip on Nathan Buddle.
- Marksman Glen Taylor made no mistake from the penalty spot to open scoring.
- The Bulls looked to respond and Tom Owen-Evans saw his stinging effort fly just over.
- Former Bulls player James Roberts was influential in Spennymoor's second goal when his cross was flicked home by Tyler Forbes.
- The Bulls felt they deserved a route back into the game when Kelsey Mooney looked to have been fouled inside the box, but the referee waved away his appeals.
- Just two minutes later Spennymoor were almost out of sight when Taylor ran through into the box only for Brandon Hall to save his effort.
- However, on the 54th minute Hereford failed to clear their lines allowing Mark Anderson to head powerfully home.
- The introduction of Kyle Finn had an immediate impact as the winger fizzed several crosses into the box to no avail.
- Owen-Evans then ran through on goal before producing a fine save from goalkeeper Dale Eve.
- Jared Hodgkiss kept the score-line down by heading away off the line before at the other end Brad Ash saw his penalty appeal turned down.
- To add insult to injury Taylor muscled his way through to score a fourth goal two minutes from time.
