MIDFIELDER Jacob Jagger Cane has returned to Edgar Street following a loan spell at Weston-super-Mare.

The 25-year-old, who signed from Hereford from Weston in the summer, has been on loan at his former club for the past two months making 10 appearances.

Weston manager Scott Bartlett told their club’s website: “Naturally we are disappointed but it’s football and we will move on and continue to improve.

“I’d like to thank Jacob for his effort and application. I am in regular contact with Hereford and hope to see him back in a Weston-super-Mare shirt again in the near future.

“While I am manager of Weston, Jacob will always be welcome back and if we can make it work, we will. But we fully respect that he’s a Hereford player and any decision regarding his future is theirs to make.”

Rowan Liburd’s loan at Dartford was also due to expire earlier this week.
