TITLE contenders Cheltenham Saracens dealt Hereford Lads Club a blow to their ambitions with an emphatic 5-1 win at the County Ground.

Adam Loveridge and Jordan Bryan each scored a brace for the visitors while Matthew Barnard was also on the score sheet.

In reply Adam Hockey fired home for Lads Club whose afternoon was made worse by the sending off of James Fennessy.

Meanwhile, Lads Club will play Hereford FC in the quarter-final of the Herefordshire FA County Challenge Cup on Tuesday, February 25.

"We were desperate to get the game against Hereford because hopefully it will bring in a decent crowd and bring the club together as one," said Lads Club manager Danny Moon.

"With being at home I think we will duly oblige and have a good go, the score-line will be the score-line and we're not expected to produce anything.

"I'm hoping that we can get the ball down and play, let's see what happens."

Hereford Pegasus will play their quarter-final tie against Clee Hill United on February 4.

They remain top of the Hellenic League One West following a 4-0 win at Bourton Rovers.

Miles Langford netted twice for the visitors while Rory Worthing and Isaac Kelly also found the net.

Wellington also remain in the HFA County Cup when they host Ludlow Colts on February 18.

Gary Stevens' side have league ambitions of their own and remained in good form with a 5-1 victory across the county boarder at Newent Town.

Jake Robinson scored a hat-trick for Welly while Saul Thomas continued his scoring form with a brace.
